Thaw hash browns and press between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Fit hash browns into greased 10" pie plate to form crust. Brush with melted butter making certain to brush top edges.

Bake at 425 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle cheeses & ham or bacon evenly over crust. Beat half & half with eggs and salt. Pour over ham & cheeses. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.

1 egg

1.5x3" bars and fry in hot oil, keeping donuts separated, for about 3 minutes per side until browned.

Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar, or make a powdered sugar glaze by adding enough milk to some powdered sugar till it is the consistancy that you want.

Grease a 9 x 12" baking dish. Slice 5 thick slices of bread and cube. Layer on bottom of pan. Dice bananas and chop the nuts; layer bananas and nuts over bread cubes. Mix brown sugar, vanilla and maple syrup, pour over bananas. Slice remaining bread into cubes and layer over rest of bananas.

Mix together the eggs and milk, and pour it over the bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon, and cover pan with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour covered, remove cover and cook for an additional 20 minutes, or until it is lightly browned and set. Serve with maple syrup & powdered sugar.

This dish is best when prepared the night before. Just cover tightly after adding the cinnamon, refrigerate, and bake the next morning.

Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

In another bowl combine the egg, milk and oil; add to the flour mixture, mixing just until flour is moistened, the batter will be lumpy...do not overbeat.

Add the blueberries and stir gently. Pour about 1/3 cup of the batter onto a hot greased griddle and cook until underside is brown, turn and brown the other side. Serve with butter and syrup.
