Eggs Au Gratin

2 onions, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp butter
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk
3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Saute onions in butter. Layer sauteed onions and the egg slices in a lightly greased shallow baking dish.
Stir together the remaining ingredients and spread over top of egg slices. Broil for 3 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
