4-1/2 cups water
2 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups uncooked grits
8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 ounces butter
3 eggs, well beaten
3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Paprika
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Boil water and add grits. Bring to a boil again, then reduce heat and cook for 25 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients except paprika. Stir until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
Pour into a 9x13" baking dish and sprinkle paprika on top. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
