Do you have a recipe for clay?

Cinnamon Clay

Ingredients...

1 cup applesauce
1-1/2 cups ground cinnamon
1/3 cup white school glue

Tools needed...

Rolling pin
1 medium sized bowl
Wax paper
Selection of Cookie cutters
Knife
Straw
Non-stick cooling rack
Ribbon

What to do...

Mix the applesauce, cinnamon, and glue together in a bowl. Remove from bowl and knead the mixture until it turns into a firm clay, then let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Clay is best when used at room temperature. You may need to dust your rolling pin, hands, or working surface with cinnamon, or you can also use wax paper as your working surface.

Roll out the clay with a rolling pin to approximately 1/8 of an inch thick. Use the cookie cutters to cut out shapes. If you are going to hang your "cookie", use a straw to cut out a hole near the top of it.

Place "cookies" on a non-stick cooling rack or on wax paper. Turn them over occasionally so that they dry evenly and flat. Dry the "cookies" for approximately 5 days. When they have dried you can put a ribbon through the hole for hanging on your Christmas tree or adding to a package.
