Tip of the Week

1 small head of red cabbage, shredded finely
1 medium apple, peeled & cubed
1 small onion, chopped
3 slices bacon, chopped
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp sugar

Fry bacon until crisp, saute the onion in the bacon grease. Add cabbage and apple, stir well. Fill up with water until the cabbage is well covered. Cook until soft and then season with vinegar and sugar to taste. Add salt to taste.
