Tip of the Week

1 pound sage flavored bulk pork sausage
2 Tbsp onion, chopped
6 Tbsp flour
1 quart milk
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
2 drops worcestershire sauce
2 drops hot pepper sauce
Prepared biscuits

Cook sausage over medium heat, crumbling as it cooks. Add onion, cook until onion is soft. Drain, leaving 2 Tbsp drippings in the pan. Stir in flour; cook over medium-low heat about 6 minutes or until mixture bubbles and has a golden color. Stir in milk; add seasonings. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Serve over biscuits.
