May 1, 2009, Newsletter Issue #213: Hard Boiled Eggs

Tip of the Week

To make perfect hard-boiled eggs, place eggs in a deep pan and cover with cold water. Add a little vinegar or salt to help prevent cracking. Heat just until boiling. Turn off burner and cover pan. (Make sure to leave the pan on the burner.) After 30 minutes, remove from stove and rinse thoroughly in cold water until eggs are cooled. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
