Swiss Steak

1-1/2 pounds boneless round steak
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
8 new potatoes, quartered
1 onion, sliced
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes with garlic, basil, and oregano; undrained

1 jar (12 ounces) home style beef gravy
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Cut round steak into 6 serving sized pieces. Spray 12-inch skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Sprinkle beef with seasoned salt and pepper. Cook in skillet 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, until browned.

Layer potatoes, beef, and onion in crock pot. Mix tomatoes and gravy; spoon over mixture in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 to 8 hours or until beef and vegetables are tender. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
