4-6 pork chops, cut 3/4 inch thick
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 potatoes, cut into 1/4 inch slices
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
2 small apples, cut into 1/4 inch slices
1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
1/4 cup ketchup
In large skillet brown pork chops on both sides in oil. Place potatoes, carrots, onion, browned pork chops, sauerkraut and apples in crock pot. In a bowl combine apple juice and ketchup; pour over ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
