Chile Cornbread

Chile Cornbread

1 Cup Cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Sugar
1 Cup Cream Style Corn
1 Onion, chopped
1 Can diced Green Chiles
1/4 pound grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup buttermilk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Stir in corn, onion, chiles, and cheese. Combine oil, eggs, and buttermilk. Add to dry ingredients. Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into a greased 8" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
