1 egg white
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 pound shelled walnuts
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
In a large bowl, whisk the egg white until it
becomes foamy. Stir in the brown sugar, spices, vanilla and walnuts, making sure the nuts are well-coated. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray,
and spread the nuts evenly in pan. Bake for 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until well-toasted and golden brown. Cool. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
