2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 cinnamon stick
6 whole cloves
3 whole allspice
Rind of 2 oranges, cut into 1/4" strips
1 bottle (750 milliliters) dry red wine
Heat all ingredients except wine to boiling in a large pot, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Remove spices and
orange peel. Stir in wine. Heat until just hot (DO NOT BOIL). Serve.
